真是许久不推荐好音乐了，来个我老爱听的，screamo+trance由表面的时髦到内核的生猛。转篇搜到的文，我和那博主一样期待着他们的专辑。

Helia is a pretty new band coming from Italia. Their goal is to create something unique: a mix between screamo, trance and dance from the 90’s. And they did it!

Their first EP “Delorean” is exactly what you could be waiting for after reading their description.

Their electronic samples sound really great and are well mixed with the other instruments. There is a very good balance between parts with and without prominent electronic samples and a great balance between screaming and non-screaming parts. You couldn’t tell if they’re a screamo band with trance parts or a trance band with screamo parts.

Every style is present as much as the others and that’s, from my point of view, the strongest point of this EP. When I heard it for the first time, I thought this was much like Enter Shikari. Then, my second opinion was that it looked more like HORSE The band. In fact, it’s none of them…or maybe both at the same time. Those impressions came to me by listening closely to the vocals and backings, that have some various style reminding me those two bands.

In conclusion, I would say it’s sad that this was only an EP. I would have wanted to hear a lot more for two reasons: the first one is that I have enjoyed listening to “Delorean” a lot, the second one is that it would have been easier to accurately qualify their style (which, by the way, is quite difficult to explain to someone that never heard that kind of music before).

“Delorean” is definitely a great debut album, I wish Helia good luck and hope they are planning to release a longer CD in a near future!
